My friend has this truck which sat indoors in a bodyshop for (10) months. nHad it shipped from Florida to Virginia. The vehicle runs very badly…ignition passes all tests, vacuum hoses replaced timing checked.
It feels like trash in the gas; it smells badly when following behind. Seems like it may have water in the gas. We put in carb cleaner…but no dri-gas yet. Fuel Injection has me spoiled…but from my past carburetor days experience it feels like it’s a fuel problem.
If there are no ideas , I will pump all the gas out and install inline filter and place (5) gallons of fresh fuel in and see what takes place. ANY other IDEAS
