1985 Dodge D150 alternator won’t charge

Alternater won’t charge battery but alternater and voltage regulated are new

Hi @Williamnelson can you tell us a bit more about your vehicle and the history of this problem? People might be better able to help with some more info.

Is the alternator light in the instrument panel working?

You have a broken wire somewhere.
Check for battery voltage at the stud on the alternator.
Next, there should be ignition voltage, 12+ volts on the blue field wire on the alternator when running.
Measure the voltage of the green flied wire on the alternator, it should be between 0 and 11 volts depending on charging system demand.

My first guess is the fusible link.
