1979 MG MGB clutch slipping

Clutch slips a little. I can still drive it , and no clutch smell. It is a MGB with overdrive. You’re MG make ,will not let you put in a model.

So this is an MGB and not a Mini Cooper?

You just told us what is happening, you didn’t ask a question.

I’d suggest the clutch needs to come out. It is likely covered with 1) engine oil or 2) transmission fluid and is slipping. Replace it as it is likely soaked with oil.

Fix the oil leak as best you can. With Brit cars, you can’t make them STOP leaking, you can only slow it down!
