1971 Buick Skylark - Seeking help

Apologies. Just saw the influx of responses.
I’m in the Denver, CO area.
Thanks,

A simple Google search shows several shops in the Denver , Co area .

OK but driving old cars means it’s time to hone your skills. Manual in hand.

Maybe the spring is broken that closes the secondary butterflies. I forget how the Quadrajet works because it’s been so long. I had throttles stick before and throttle freezing on an 85 Escort.
Either way; a little oil on ends of the throttle shaft might help.

Your question and situation offended no one, it is just that without knowing where you are, sending you to the best mechanic in Sarasota, Florida will do you absolutely no good if you live in Omaha Nebraska.

The referral was Ft. Myers though but you don’t want to go there over the high bridges if your carb isn’t working right.

Back in the early days of the radio show, Click and Clack’s frequent reply, in unison, to problems with carbs and high RPMs was “choke pull-off!”
