When the 2016 models hit the lot, the 2015 cars remaining become “left-overs”, especially if the 2016 models are a new design…
The bare bone models (base with manual) are almost impossible to find. At the least, they add floor mats and add $500 on the MSRP. When the 2016’s arrive, you will only find a few fully loaded 2015’s which are probably priced well over what a base Camry would go for.
While I am unable to back track the site there was a Nissan ad for a new Versa priced at $13,000+ in recent days that caught my attention. How does a Versa compare to a Corolla?
The Versa is one size smaller, compares better to the Yaris. The Sentra is still a bit smaller than Corolla but pretty close. The Versa wins the worse handling award in most tests though. I have never been in one, but most refuse to be in one after a test ride/drive.
Toyota is offere a $750 customer cash rebate, $1000 military rebate, and $1000 college graduate rebate. I’m sure one or more are included.
