I’m submitting this for my father in law. He has the mentioned truck. There are symbols on his gear shift selector that no one could explain to him when he bought it. First there’s the image of a trailer with a push button activation. There is also a toggle switch with plus/minus symbols. He can’t find this in the manual. Anyone know what these features are and what for?

push button with trailer symbol is GM’s “Tow haul” mode used when towing or heavy hauling. It should be in the manual under “towing”
the plus/minus toggle is on the same knob just to the left of the “tow haul” mode button (thanks for the answer on that).
I just checked my 04’ Sierra and i don’t have the +/- switch. Probably a model feature. Sorry.
