car has refused to turn over 3 times in last month (jumped) today started but trans failsafe prog message on dash. drove home turned off car restarted no message. 2 hours later would not start. are the problems related? new battery? new transmission?! (one payment left!)nearest dealership 45 miles
Assuming it is the original battery, I would start by replacing it. You may get lucky and even if the battery does not need replacement today, it will soon.
