I just moved to north Raleigh and I am looking for a mechanic for my Subaru and Nissan. The Mechanics Files doesn’t list any shops for Subaru or Nissan, any suggestions?
Ask around your new neighbors and coworkers who they use. It will be a good conversation starter to make new friends.
Also check Yelp for local recommended mechanics.
Shops that say they work on Hondas and Toyotas often work on Nissans and Subarus too. As mentioned above, the best way to find an inde shop is a personal recommendation from someone you know. Then tell the shop who it was that recommended them to you. It gives you some leverage.
