Today I discovered that my local NPR station has dropped Car Talk. On my station, Wait, Wait, Don't tell Me is on at 11 am with Car Talk at noon. When noon rolled around the NPR news update started playing. I thought,"This is different...the news never plays before Car Talk." Waited till it was done, and some other show was playing in Tom and Ray's spot! Bummer. I still enjoyed listening even when the calls seemed to be 15 or 20 years old. I expect I'll still listen, but just will have to change how.
Anybody else out there have a similar experience?
