My 96 Tacoma no start when hot. I have found that if I open the hood after shutting it off, it will start with no problem or if I don't open the hood and it wont start. I will pull the fresh air sensor out of the filter chamber, cup it in my hand and pour cold water over it, let it hang loose. Tacoma will start immediately, I re-install it into the fresh air chamber and drive away. Another fix is push start at between 2 & 5 miles per hour let the clutch out (switch on of course) starts right away. I tested the FAT sensor tested good.
