Hi everyone, long time listener but first time poster here. I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I am looking for a good car to replace my 1967 mustang. Love driving the coupe but its hard to have as a daily driver and even harder to drive with a small family. I'm looking for something in the $4-8k range, good on gas, reliable and roomy enough for 2 adults, at least one small child and a dog. I'm pretty handy working on cars but I don't want something that I will need to constantly work on. I've owned Jeeps in the past (all of them) but the newer ones are getting worse on the mpg. I've looked at VW and Audi wagons but most have super high mileage, read problems. I'd like something with 4wd or AWD for our brutal Colorado winters and for getting back to some of the trails that we go hiking on. Thoughts? Any suggestions would be great!
