I have a 2002 Dodge Caravan with 115,000 miles on it and a 3.3 engine. I ran great UNTIL....I was comint home from work and about a mile from home it started to shift oddly. I slowed way down and it kept going. When I turn on our road it didn't seem to want to shift out of first. I put it in low and went about 10 miles an hour. I started up a small grade and it stalled. I was able to coast back into someones driveway. It had not given any indication of transmission trouble before this. It had fluid in it. My husband is thinking he may be able to fix it by replacing the silanoid (sp?) any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
