1997 Nissan Maxima. Installed new pressure plate and clutch disk, reassembled and started car idled forward and back to assure proper clutch performance...perfect. Turned off engine and completed under hood assembly. i.e. air intake etc....
Went to start engine to test drive and engine would not fire. Cylinders fire randomly and engine will not run, it is almost a cross fire. Timing??? I found out that a month earlier new plugs were installed and one of the coil packs atop the spark plugs had been broken and not replaced. Could this be the symptom to what is happening. Diagnostic error code do not point to anything serious to cause this random firing of cylinders. Any ideas??? T this point any information would be greatly appreciated.
