A 2001 Silverado (5.3L 4wd) is the tow vehicle for taking my '66 Charger to shows afar off. The truck was diagnosed with a cracked exhaust manifold. The word is that's not uncommon for towing duty. So, I'm considering upgrading to higher performance exhaust headers, high heat resistance, and maybe a modified air intake; all to help the truck tow with less strain.
Are these mods worth it?
