My V40 has occasional drop in the idle. It is sporadic. About 2 years ago the dealer replaced the idle sensor, this did not solve the problem. I have been living with this problem for about 4 years. The car has 122,000 miles on it. From what I remember nothing shows up when the computer is checked.
