Friends are willing to sell me their 2001 Audi allroad quattro 2.7 T (how many words does it take to designate a car?) with 100 k on it for $6500; the check engine light is on all the time b/c of malfunctioning sensor light, and it sounds like that is sort of an Audi thing. The CEL does not bug me, and it's a lovely car to drive, but is it a repair job looking for a home? My mechanic thinks so. Will get my friends' repair records and bills for the last few years, but whatbdo you nice and car-savvy people think?
