Well the search is over for a truck for my daughter. We ended up with a 2005 Silverado Z71 4x4 Crew Cab Short bed with tow package. It has 5.3L and 4:10 gears. It has 163K mileage and air ride in the rear. We paid 11k.
She should have no problem towing camper now and we can rest the 4runner and see if we can get the ATC on it solved for her around town truck.
