I was listening to this on air and raced to the phone to try to get on air with them. It was my uncle, Richard Freudenberger, who was on the team at Mother Earth and who wrote the article you provided the link to. You beat me to the punch. I had gotten up this morning and wrote to click and clack telling them about my uncles work with Mother Earth and telling them that we both listen to the show and I was hoping they would reach out to him. Then I saw all of this on line and called my uncle myself. He is now a publisher of a magazine similer to Mother Earth, it is called Back Home, and he is going to check out this discussion board from work this week and maybe ad something to it. I am still hoping the folks at car talk will reach out to him. BTW, if this kind of research is your thing, my uncle has written a book, which has been recommended by his former employer, Mother Earth. It is titled "Alcohol Fuel: Making and Using Ethanol as a Fuel".
