I was installing a new battery into a 1992 Mazda Protege. Being in a hurry I got the terminals switch. Now I know this was a stupid mistake, but is there any way that I can reverse the damage? Whenever I try to start the car, turn on any electrical device, there’s nothing. Any suggestions as to what to do? Being a '92 model I don’t want to put too much money into it. I was getting it ready to sell anyway.

Check the main power fuses and circuit breakers in the box under the hood. At least one is probably blown.

Check for fusible links as well.

Hopefully a fuse or fusible link went and gave up it’s life protecting the more expensive things in your car.

I’ll be that will be the last time that happens to you.
