seems lilke a standard problem with the gm wipers 99 to 2000 something or so.

got to tighten the four nuts or lugs for the wipers to stay down.

Is there a easy fix to this or do you got to buy a few arms that are unworn. seems like a fix would sort it.

 Thank you in advance

 Sid

Remove the wiper arms from the posts, and inspect the splines in the wiper arms to see if the splines in the arms are stripped out. If the splines in the wiper arms are stripped out replace the wiper arms.

Wipers arm splines do not normally strip. They are most likely worn from starting the wipers while they are frozen down from ice or pushing heavy wet snow.
