I have a 2005 Grand Prix and it seems like my windshield defroster has lost power as far as the fan. Its almost like something is either blocking the air or maybe a fan is dying?.. still blows hot hair to defog my windshield but doesn’t have the force it used to have. Any ideas of things for me to check?

Make sure your fan speeds are actually working. If not a variable resistor is in order. One symptom is it only blows on higher speeds but not all speeds.

It could be that your cabin air filter is pretty well plugged ,so your fan has a hard time getting air through. Honda Bill
