# Why’d my check engine light come on with such low miles?

I have a 2015 ford fiesta with 40K miles my check engine light came on has anyone had this happen with such low miles ?

Yes. It happens all the time. Likely something simple like a leaking fuel flap.

Many auto parts stores in the US will read the error codes for free. Have the codes read and post back the actual codes, not the description and we’ll try and help.
