# Why am I having a hard time getting the key out of the ignition on my 2005 Mazda3?

This just started recently, and happens with both keys. The key goes in fine, it drives fine, but when you try to take the key out of the ignition, it feels like someone is pulling it in the opposite direction. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would have a locksmith replace the cylinder before it fails completely…It’s a fairly simple job NOW, but should it jam, repairs can get far more complicated…
