Which brands of cars let me charge my phone when the engine is off?

I did say “older”, so that’s my fault. 15 years old is “older”. 1990’s are antiques or nearing 25 years. I know. That makes me feel “older” too. I saw a Fox body Mustang with an antique tag the other day. :weary:

Is there no longer an “ACC” position with the trend of push-to-start ignition? The one in which you can operate the radio, power outlets, etc. with the engine off? ACC position would have allowed the O.P. to do what was desired.

I’m almost certain I’ve seen a similar feature to ACC if you push the push-to-start button with your foot off of the brake pedal.

Very unlikely we will ever find out the original poster who asked this question in 2009 ever found a vehicle that did what they wanted.

Correct, without applying the brake, push once for accessory, twice for ignition on (engine off).
