My all time favorite non political bumper sticker was on a '73 Datsun pickup which was rusted out and sun bleached and sitting all akimbo as the left rear spring had failed. This happened, I imagine, because it was full of junk mufflers picked up, I am sure, from local streets and byways. THE BUMPER STICKER READ, “I AM NOT IN YOUR HURRY.” Of course I was in a HUGE hurry and it actually slowed me down and made me laugh. ---

Two possible contenders for best bumper sticker, as I see it. The first one gets points for wittiness: **_Romney/Ryan We’ll make that Mayan prophecy come true!_** However, in NY & NJ, the overwhelming “favorite” right now is: **_Mitt says, “Abolish FEMA. Disaster relief is immoral.”_** And, yes, he actually did say that last year, but recently reversed his position (surprise, surprise!). ---
