Does anyone have the website for finding a local mechanic that is well liked by customers. It usually appears at the end on the column. thanx

Do you mean CarTalk’s “Mechanics Files” at [http://cartalk.com/content/mechx/](http://cartalk.com/content/mechx/) ?

It’s mentioned often here, but it is a little hard to find on the CarTalk home site – unless you guess to look under “Actual Car Information”.

Just make sure you understand what you’re reading in those “Mechanics Files” links.

As has been discussed several times in this forum, those mechanics recommendations are only from positive experiences people have had with mechanics. Any reported negative experiences are removed.
