# Water bottles on the ground near all 4 tires. Why?

Could well be the theory it causes dog to pee elsewhere. Something similar to cause flies to go away, confuses their visual system.

Maybe if car moves plastic bottle wedged between tire & fender makes a loud noise.

Personally I think it is click bait along with the wrapping your door knob in foil. One reason maybe is that if you are being watched, you will be distracted and get out of your car with your keys in it. Better to move someplace safer.
