# VW GTI Stalls After Start

Our 2004 VW GTI (4 cyl turbo) with about 40k mi on it turns over just fine but then will stall out within the first few seconds if you don’t lean on the gas. Once it’s driving, it’s fine. Only happens when the car has been sitting around for a while, so when we take it to the dealer, they ‘find nothing wrong’. Before I jump to solutions and change out the spark plugs on my own, any thoughts as to what it could be?

Someone more knowledgeable of you car will know more than I do, but it sounds like it is flooding to me due to ??? Maybe a bad injector?
