# Volvo's new Polestar EV did not impress the folks at CR

The car was probably designed for the Chinese market, not ours.

One big problem is that the Mach-E has come out at the same time, Matt Farah of the smoking tire podcast was thinking about Polestar for their next car until spending time with the Ford Mach-E which he’s getting as a daily driver.
