I just bought a pre-owned 2004 Volvo from a dealership. I’ve had it for about 2 1/2 weeks now and the brakes are beginning to sing when I stop. Now that I am wearing my hearing aid the sound is a lot louder than I initially thought. What could be the problem? The car now has about 69,000 miles.

Volvos like yours are prone to brake squeal if aftermarket pads are used. I would have genuine Volvo pads installed.
