Using Emergency Brake to Slow into a Parking Spot

Whitey, your excellent point has made me reconsider my post. Perhaps this is worth the OP nagging her hubby about.

An awfuly silly practice.
Un-neccessary.
o.c.d.
strange.
wierd.
odd.

I could go on.

“Whitey December 7 Report
I am concerned that hubby might be using the parking brake before he pulls into a parking spot. When he does this, the brake lights do not come on, and if someone should rear end him, it would be his fault.”

Yes, your honor, I totally hit him from the rear, dude. His brake lights weren’t on, and anyways I was like totally behind him and so I had the right of way, right dude your honor? No, of course his brake lights are totally bogus now, I just told you I bashed into his car from the rear your honor, so they’re like, you know, smashed and stuff. I totally had no way of knowing he was going to stop when he pulled into that parking space, dude. Move for immediate dismissal based on the fact that the person I rear-ended was like, totally at fault and stuff.
