I do not know, possible. I had the automatic, for some reason Ford imported those from the worst car country in the western world—France, but I never had a problem with any part of that truck.

Can confirm. I have owned several Chrysler vehicles with the similar 2.5L NA engine, and the power and performance are fine. In fact, because these engines were designed for high torque at low RPMs rather than high maximum HP, the acceleration from a standstill is very good.
It’s part of the driving a slow car fast excitement.
