Truck pulls right after alignment

I’m no fan of FIrestone at all but I think it’s premature to fault them over this issue due to some unknowns that may not be visually apparent or show up on the alignment rack.

I avoid alignment shops that sells tires as their main business. It’s an inherent conflict of interest. Pretty much every community has one independently owned alignment shop that all the local mechanics use when their own car needs an alignment. If you decide you need a second opinion on this, ask around, then take the car there.

George,

What do you think of tire shops that do alignments? Does the primary focus of the business change your advice?

I see no problem at all with tire shops offering alignments and consider it a necessity.

The way I look at it is that an alignment shop does not sell tires as their main business; it’s the other way around with tire shops offering alignments as a protection of the investment.

I’m looking for help!!!
So here we go I have a 2008 f150 4x4 stx 4.6l 2v Romeo. Brought my truck to the shop to get tires. When a very motivated salesmen came out and said that I need new struts upper and lower control arms and inner and outter tie rods. I laughed and told him to go install the tires and write all that one a quote. Left the shop and now my truck pulls to the right hard. Like if I’m on the highway at 70 mph in the far left lane and let go of the wheel I will be in the ditch after crossing three lanes. So does anyone know what the problem could be?

Via cyberspace, I can’t give you a diagnosis upon which you could rely, but a visit to a front-end specialist should provide an accurate diagnosis.
