# Truck only clicks when I try to start - Nissan Titan

sometimes when starting my truck, all I get is a click. After waiting a few minutes after several attempts it starts. 2008 nissan titan crew cab, 118,000 miles.

Sounds like what my Camry did just before the starter completely quit.

Could be battery or battery connections. If not that, the starter solenoid’s copper contacts and the disc on the plunger inside the solenoid might be worn/burned. An easy fix for an auto electric shop if you bring in your starter.

Could also be cables. Remove and clean the battery posts and cables, then reapply.
