The past 4 times i’ve filled with gas, my car has trouble starting afterwards. I seal the tank, then turn the key and the engine doesn’t catch. It can take 3-4 tries before the car will start and stay on. Occasionally it will turn on just to stall a second later. Only happens after filling with gas and doesn’t matter if the tank is almost empty or still half full when i fill.

The fuel pump is in the tank. There could be a loose electrical connection that gets shifted and momentarily disables the pump.

You could attach a fuel pressure gauge at the next fillup and find out for sure.
