Over and over on this forum, people give the recommendation to go to an independent repairer. It sounds like the doors are not the only trap Tesla has set. Just build a car so complex that only the dealer can handle it. It will be interesting to learn the 10-year cost of ownership. ---

Windshields are usually laminated glass, not the tempered glass of rear and side windows. Tempered glass crumbles into tiny pieces with so much as a scratch. Laminated glass doesn’t. ---

Mp3 has done to CD what CD did to vinyl LP and cassette tape. I heard that vinyl actually outsold CDs last year. ---
