I have a 1988 Ford Crown Victoria. In the morning I drive about a mile and have to stop at a Red Light. After I turn right I have to stop at another Red Light. My car will sometimes not go into gear for a few seconds. What do you think the problem is?

The first thing to do is check the fluid - make sure it is full. Look at it - it should be nice and red. Smell it. It shouldn’t smell burned.

It isn’t clear, btw, what the 2 traffic lights have to do with the story. So if you think it is important you may want to clarify.
