I have a 2000 Saturn SL1. The reverse works only when its cold. but once it gets hot the reverse doesn’t want to budge at all. Is there anything besides getting a new transmission that I can do.

You should start by not posting the same question twice. If there is an answer out there, one will suffice.

You need to get the transmission checked out by a reputable transmission shop. They DO exist. Check right here on the Car Talk website for one near you: [http://www.cartalk.com/content/mechx/](http://www.cartalk.com/content/mechx/)
