I am trying to decide whether or not to replace the transmission on my car. It has 110,000 miles on it and is a 2003. The transmission will cost me around 1150. to replace. Any advice? ---

Where can you buy a 2003 car with a new transmission for $1150? However what conditions is the rest of the car in? ---

Agree with Joseph; a 6 year old car normally has a lot of life left in it. Have you priced rebuilding the existing transmission with a “new” rebuilt from the rebuilding shop or Kia? ---

The rest of the car seems to be in good condition and rebuilding the transmission would cost more at the places I checked. Even with over 100,000 miles on it you think it has a lot of life left? ---

How do you know that you need to replace the transmission? You’re not dealing with a transmission chain such as AAMCO are you? How many opinions have you gotten?
