My Honday Odissey needs a transmission repair (reverse doesn’t work). According to the dealer and another place, it will cost about 2,800 to repair it. We’re considering trading it in as it is and get another car. Any suggestions or advice?

I would sell it “as is” and apply the money toward a new vehicle. Trading it in should be a last resort.

$2800 is not a bad deal getting this trans rebuilt. If you are going to part with the vehicle a salvage yard.
