It basically all started @ Thanksgiving and the car wouldn’t go in reverse. Well after a few days it started going into reverse now it won’t go into 3rd gear. I am wondering do I possibly need to get another transmission. ---

How many miles? Has the transmission fluid ever been changed? Automatic transmission? ---

has 160,000 miles on it and yes its been changed. We even changed the filter as well and yes automatic transmission. ---

Sorry to tell you this, but ive had a problum like this, and you eather need to get a new transmission, or get yours rebuilt. i got mine rebuilt, and it was about a thousand bucks so yeah good luck…
