Hello. You are not alone. I have exactly the same problem with my 2014 Corolla. Iāve replace two batteries, today Toyota informed me that they still did not find the reason why is the battery being drained, despite me explaining that battery dies every one or two weeks they still say that nothing is wrong with the car. They told me that the battery I have there now is a CCA500Amp and Toyota recommend CCA580amp, so Iām going to purchase ANOTHER battery just to eliminate that being the possibility of the battery dying, even knowing that I know that this does not make any sense. Truly disappointed.
Having the same problem. Your comment is very helpful. Thanks.
maybe there is a problem with a light that is consuming the battery over night
That difference is pretty negligible. If the car starts fine when the battery isnāt drained, then ālowā CCA is not your problem.
My son has an 09 and I have a 2015 Corolla and never had a problem like you describe. The Corolla is one of the most popular cars made, if this were a design defect it would be in the news. Your car may have a parasitic draw. What Is Parasitic Draw and How to Test for It
You may have a dome light, glove box light or trunk like staying on. You may have something like a phone charger plugged into an auxiliary power outlet (cigarette lighter) that draws power . You may drive 2 or 3 miles a week which will drain the battery of any car, this has been happening more often now due to Covid restrictions.
+1
I can recall the case of someone whose trunk light stayed on continually because its mounting was bent or broken, and the light was hanging at approximately the same angle as if the trunk lid was open.
My 1996 Dodge will shut off any interior light left on after 10 minutes, this feature should be expected on a 2014 Toyota.
