Help! My 1997 Town and Country van decides to start when it wants to. I know I’m having trouble when the dash goes dark, no speedometer, gas guage, etc. If that happens when the car is running it still works, but the dash is dark. I think it has something to do with the fuses/or the lock system as the lights come on when the power of the dash goes off. Please help!

Me again. Could it be in the body control module? Had it checked once and of course it was on best behavior. Anyone out there who have had similar problems?

I have a recollection from [allpar.com](http://allpar.com) about this. I think some disconnect a fuse (IOD?) and reset the BCM and some open the cluster and resolder the connections. I suggest going to [allpar.com](http://allpar.com) and searching for yourself.
