So I went into the Honda dealership, where I bought my car, for the routine Oil Change for my 2018 HondaAccord with 26,693 miles. They said I needed to perform a ‘Break Fluid Exchange’. Isn’t this supposed to be done every 30,000 - 40,000 miles ? \_\_\_\_\_\_\_. TIA. ---

I always change brake fluid whenever i get around to waxing the axles. ---

One of the footnotes to the schedule says to change the brake fluid every 36mo even if the maintenance minder doesn’t display the code. Specifies time instead of mileage ---

The mileage limits are for people that drive a lot. After almost 6 years it’s about time for brake fluid change.
