I have a ticking noise from the front right wheel on my Wrangler for 3 years. I have changed the brakes, rotated the tires, changed the front axle lube. THe noise seems to be from inside the axle. The left side now ticks . What is the problem? Do I need to fix it? Is the wheel going to fall off? Oh I never repacked the bearings

The most obvious problem could be the ujoints, and yes you would need to replace them if they are bad. There is one on each side.
