If I let go of the pedal or accelerating even further, it stops. It happens maybe 30% of the time.i can feel it in the floorboards and I DO have bad motor mounts but why is this sound happening all of a sudden? As if something is hitting something. You now have 4 threads about this possibly worn out vehicle . Maybe you should just put it in a shop and find out just how much it is going to take to put this on the road in a decent running fashion.
