The first one looks like something Frank Lloyd Wright would have designed. I recall that I saw a lot of _Pemex_ stations in Mexico in 1972 that were far more modern than most of the stations in The US. I guess having a monopoly on the retail gas market in Mexico was very good for their bottom line. ---
