# The 'Shuttering' Porsche

The March 15, 2025 puzzler is titled “[The Shuttering Porsche](https://www.cartalk.com/radio/puzzler/shuttering-porsche)” The correct word is ‘shuddering’. ‘Shuttering’ is what is done to protect windows from the weather, back in the day when windows had shutters. I [searched the CT forum](https://community.cartalk.com/search?q=shuttering) and found a lot of posts using the wrong word for [tremble convulsively](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/shudder), so it must be a common error since the words sound alike.
