Because your in the business to make a profit. Buy several, two dozen, a gross. Check with the exporter, and see who will give you the best deal—Saudi’s or the Venezulans Gasoline price per gallon is way less than in the USA
But Doc, could you enjoy getting into them and taking them for a ride every day? I couldn’t!
the only thing i do miss is that “new car smell”. i have looked and looked for an air freshener that truley smells like new car but no luck.
If you knew what was in that “new car smell”, you probably wouldn’t want it. It’s mostly plasticizers and other gunk outgassing from all the plastic and synthetics inside the cabin. Some of it’s fairly toxic.
I am amazed and amuzed by the disdain some have for SUVs. Although I too feel that a great many are bought for the image, so what? The price of fuel is continually pushing the unneeded gas hogs into the garage for long rests. But several SUVs get acceptable mileage (20+ mpg), often better than mini-vans and certainly station wagonos. The image of a snobbish, arrogant woman with a cell phone at her ear, driving an
Escalade with little concern for other traffic is a commical picture, but how often is that the case?
Not as common as it is with the other types of SUVs. I can’t think of any self respecting person that isn’t in the entertainment industry(or distributer of illegal goods and services) that owns an Escalade.
If you believe there is a commodity bubble, now is the time to find a nice SUV extra cheap. I just bought a Suburban for towing, very low mileage, for $3000.
Hey guys the price of gasoline may rapidly reduce the ownership of pleasure boats and hence you may no longer need your SUV.
So-o-o-o-o it’s a sailboat right?
With solar back-up?
No wonder why gas is $4+ a gallon.
