I have a 99 Mazda Protege and I recently got a full service oil change. Along with this came a refill of the washer fluid. Today, I sprayed the new washer fluid for the first time and it stunk of sulfur. Does this make any sense? I don’t smell the sulfur stench any other time besides when the washer fluid is sprayed. Any ideas? ---

I don’t mean to question your ability to detect sulfur but some people smell ammonia and call it sulfurous. ---

Does the garage that serviced your car use well water?They may have mixed up the washer fluid using the water in the shop. I lived in the country and we had problems with sulfer smell in the water.
